Macie is the founder and managing member of the Hawkes Law Firm, LLC  She represents individual and business clients in a wide range of legal matters in the areas of bankruptcy law, loss mitigation, foreclosure proceedings, short sale transactions and civil litigation. Since graduating from law school, Mrs. Hawkes has worked with major mortgage lenders and servicing companies in these specific areas. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Bankruptcy Law and Real Property Law Sections with both the State Bar of Arizona and the American Bar Association.

Mrs. Hawkes graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA with honors in Legal Research, Writing and Oral Advocacy. While in law school she served as a Teaching Assistant, teaching Legal Research, Writing and Oral Advocacy.
Prior to attending law school, Mrs. Hawkes worked in the real estate and mortgage lending industry where she developed real life industry experience that provides her with great insight that has proven beneficial to her clients.  Mrs. Hawkes also served in the United States Army Reserve where she had the privilege of serving her country honorably and where she met her husband Michael, who still serves in the Army Reserve at the rank of Lieutenant in the Nurse Corp. During her time in service she served as a Sergeant as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

When Mrs. Hawkes is not practicing law she enjoys spending time with her three young children and her husband. Together they go camping, try to take trips to the beach or snow when they can and they are always looking for fun things to do together as a family.
